Homework Help or Just for Fun!
Searchasaurus is a kid friendly information tool that is simple and intuitive, making it easy for students to search by icon, keyword or by topic to find the useful information. This child-friendly, graphically-rich interface is designed specifically for elementary/middle school students keeping in view their needs and search abilities. It is both powerful and fun to use.
Includes full text for popular magazine titles (some dating back to 1975), reference works, biographies, and government publications. Smithsonian, Astronomy, The Economist, and Popular Science are some of the magazines available. Learn about mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, dinosaurs and prehistoric animals through this database. Includes pictures for selected animals with the animal's location and Latin name.
Primary Search® contains full text for nearly 70 popular, elementary school magazines. All full text articles are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles). The Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia database indexes over 25,000 records, updated annually covering an array of topics, beautiful images, brief biographies.
Middle Search® Plus contains full text for more than 140 popular, middle school magazines. All full text articles are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles). Helpful for homework assignments and school projects.
