1.        CONSENT AGENDA

A.      Consideration & possible approval of Special Council Meeting minutes dated 03/20/07.

A motion was made by Chris Brimhall and 2nd by Lavell Gardner to approve the consent agenda.  Motion passed; unanimous

 

A motion was made by Charlie Hendrickson and 2nd by Chris Brimhall to go to Executive Session.  Motion passed; unanimous

 

A motion was made by Charlie Hendrickson and 2nd by Lavell Gardner to return to Regular Session.  Motion passed; unanimous

 

OLD BUSINESS

2.        Consideration & possible approval of 2nd reading of Ord #07-289 to rezone property from AG to R-1A.  Owner of the property is Will Wilson.  The property is located at 260 South Porter Road in Snowflake, Arizona.* (Dr Smith)

 

A motion was made by Lavell Gardner and 2nd by Charlie Hendrickson approving 2nd reading of Ord #07-289 by title only.  Motion passed; unanimous

A motion was made by Lavell Gardner and 2nd by Charlie Hendrickson to approve Ord #07-289.

 

3.        Consideration & possible award of bid for fencing at new Little League Field.* (Don Camacho)

 

A motion was made by Lavell Gardner and 2nd by Sharon Tate to approve award of bid for fencing at new Little League Field to Pioneer Fence.  Motion passed; unanimous

 

NEW BUSINESS

4.        Consideration & possible approval of 1st reading of Ord #07-291 to rezone property from AG to R-1A.  Owner of the property is Scot Meisel.  The property is located at 1000 North Cherry Blossom Lane in Snowflake, Arizona.* (Dr. Smith)

 

A motion was made by Chris Brimhall and 2nd by Lynn Johnson to table Item #4.  Motion passed; unanimous

 

5.        Consideration & possible approval of 1st reading of Ord #07-292 to rezone property from R-1A to R-45 with a PAD overlay.  Owner of the property is Mitch Laird.  The property is located on the West side of Centennial Blvd and Rodeo Road in Snowflake, Arizona.* (Dr. Smith)

 

A motion was made by Lavell Gardner and 2nd by Chris Brimhall approving 1st reading of Ord#07-292.  Motion passed; unanimous

6.        Consideration & possible approval of Tentative Plat for Whisper Rock Subdivision—David Decker.* (Dr. Smith)

 

A motion was made by Lynn Johnson and 2nd by Chris Brimhall approving Tentative Plat for Whisper Rock Subdivision.  Motion passed; unanimous

 

7.        Consideration & possible approval of Final Plat for Frontier Estates II—Gene Hall.* (Dr. Smith)

 

A motion was made by Lavell Gardner and 2nd by Charlie Hendrickson approving Final Plat for Frontier Estates II.  Motion passed; unanimous

 

8.        Consideration of 2006 Building Codes. (Dr. Smith and Dale Call)

9.        Consideration & possible approval of hiring consultant to establish development impact fees for police, fire, library, parks & recreation, general government.* (Brian Richards)

 

A motion was made by Lynn Johnson and 2nd by Chris Brimhall to table Item #9.  Motion passed; unanimous

10.     Consideration & possible approval of Res #07-495 supporting floodplain map designating “D” zone.*  (Gary Fenstermaker)

 

A motion was made by Sharon Tate and 2nd by Lavell Gardner approving Res #07-495 supporting floodplain map designating “D” zone.  Motion passed; unanimous

 

11.     Consideration & possible approval of Res #07-496 borrowing $1.1 million for Fire Department from Greater Arizona Development Authority (GADA).* (Brian Richards)

 

A motion was made by Charlie Hendrickson and 2nd by Lynn Johnson approving Res #07-496 borrowing $1.1 million for Fire Department from GADA.  Motion passed; unanimous

 

A motion was made by Charlie Hendrickson and 2nd by Chris Brimhall to table manager’s report.  Motion failed; three for and three against

 

A motion was made by Lynn Johnson and 2nd by Sharon Tate to approve Executive Session minutes dated 03/20/07.  Motion passed; unanimous
